New Candidate Potential Report Reduces Hiring Risks

(PRWEB) May 11, 2007 -- A new and inexpensive tool that uses personality traits to predict performance for nearly every job in the economy is being offered by Hogan Assessment Systems, a leading provider of personality assessment tests for employee selection and development.

The new Candidate Potential Report offers a quick and easy evaluation of an applicant seeking a position that falls within seven job families.

It is effective and we have decades of data to prove that it works. "This is a fast, low-cost way of precisely selecting the right candidates for jobs that fall within seven job families that encompass nearly every type of job in the business world," says Ryan Ross, manager of strategic accounts. "It is effective and we have decades of data to prove that it works."

The matching of the seven job categories and desirable personality profiles is based on 30 years of research. The company has assessments on millions of working adults and validation studies on more than 450 job titles. This means that a potential employer can simply match their job description to Hogan's job families and use the corresponding profiles as guidelines for making selection decisions.

“  We know that the top worries of HR managers when filling jobs are the risks and costs of bad hires
The CPR is an easy tool to use. After a job candidate completes a 15-minute online assessment, a CPR report is immediately generated that identifies the candidate as high, moderate or low fit for the job opening. The report also identifies the individual's strengths, areas of concern and interview style.

"We know that the top worries of HR managers when filling jobs are the risks and costs of bad hires," says Ross. "This new CPR report can streamline the employee selection process and improve the bottom line by minimizing the waste of time and money spent on bad hires, reducing turnover, and increasing productivity."

Ross adds that all of Hogan's assessments and reports, including the CPR, are valid and legally defensible methods to predict future job performance and select employees.

More information, including a description of the seven job families and a sample CPR report, is available at hoganassessments.com or by calling Hogan Assessment Systems at 800-756-0632 or by sending an e-mail to cpr(at)hoganassessments(dot)com.

Hogan Assessment Systems has offices in Tulsa, Okla., and Jacksonville, Fla., and local distributors in more than 30 countries.
